It is with regret that we announce the closing of the New England Senior Hockey League, after nearly 40 years in business. We are simply unable to continue our operations at this time, due to a variety of factors, not the least of which is the Covid-19 crisis.
We have not, nor do we intend, to sell or give away the league's name, logo, customer or worker contact list, nor any other proprietary information. Likewise, we have not authorized any other person or group to operate directly under the NESHL name.
That being said, we are aware that the Boston hockey world is a small one, and one passionately devoted to hockey. We are aware that some leagues and rinks are hoping to 'pick up where the NESHL left off", and we truly wish them all well - both the leagues and our former teams. We would like to thank the teams, players, refs, scorers and others whom the league has had the honor to work with over the years, and we wish everyone the best.
